People in Älvsbyn have always been very interested in cars. The enthusiast and founder of the Petrol Museum, Per-Olof Lindroth, has Sweden’s largest exhibition of petrol stations from the 1920s to the 1960s, as well as other curiosities like spare parts, advertising material and car magazines.
