Vistträsk Triathlon

Come and Experience the Excitement of Three Sports in One!

Vistträsk IF is organizing a triathlon in connection with Vistträskdagen on July 11, 2026.

We’ll swim, cycle, and run, each participant at their own pace, with plenty of encouragement along the way.

Whether you’re a beginner or simply want to try something fun, you’re warmly welcome! Bring your enthusiasm for exercise, we’ll take care of the rest.

Entry Fee: No entry fee, but membership in Vistträsk IF is required. Membership can be purchased on-site.

Event Format

Participants gather from 9:00 AM at Vistträsk Beach. The nearest address is Vistbacka 33.

Please bring:

• Swimwear and swimming gear
• Running gear
• A bicycle

A standard bicycle is perfectly acceptable.

Bicycle helmets are mandatory.
E-bikes are not permitted.

Swimming

The race starts at 10:00 AM.

The swim begins in the water and follows a course with a turnaround point after 200 metres.

A rescue raft will be available on the lake.

Cycling

After completing the swim, participants transition to cycling.

The 16 km cycling route circles Lake Vistträsk.

Please note:

• The route is not closed to traffic.
• Normal traffic regulations apply.
• Approximately one-third of the course is gravel road.
• The remaining distance is on paved roads.

Before the transition to running, cyclists will pass through Vistträsk village, where spectators are hopefully gathered to cheer participants on. Please be considerate of pedestrians.

Running

The run covers 3 km along forest trails on the Vistträsk illuminated track.

Participants should be aware that:

• Boardwalk sections occur along the trail.
• Tree roots may be present on the route.

Additional Information

• Water stations will be available during both the cycling and running segments.
• Honorary prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the men’s and women’s categories.
• Participants must be at least 15 years old, or accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• All participation is at the competitor’s own risk.
