With a voice that touches the soul and a unique ability to captivate his audience, Albin Lee Meldau is one of Sweden’s most celebrated artists. His music seamlessly moves between melancholic ballads and expressive soul, whether he sings in Swedish or English.
After starting his career modestly, including as a singer in the soul band The Magnolia, Albin broke through as a solo artist in 2016 with the hit “Lou Lou.” The song, from his debut EP Lovers, has been streamed over ten million times and set the stage for a journey filled with success. His appearances on Så mycket bättre in 2018 and 2022 made him a beloved artist in Sweden, and he gained international recognition when he won the EU’s Music Moves Europe award as the audience favorite in 2019.
In the fall of 2024, Albin embarked on a spectacular autumn tour, concluding with sold-out concerts at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm and Scandinavium in Gothenburg. He also released his latest album, Discomforts, which features critically acclaimed songs like Forget About Us, When You’re Here, and Elvis, I Love You. Additionally, his duet Nyper mig i armen with Per Gessle has become one of the year’s major radio hits.
