With a voice that touches the heart and a unique ability to captivate his audience, Albin Lee Meldau is one of Sweden’s most acclaimed artists. His music moves seamlessly between melancholic ballads and expressive soul, whether he sings in Swedish or English.
After starting his career on a smaller scale, including as one of the vocalists in the soul band The Magnolia, Albin had his big breakthrough as a solo artist in 2016 with the hit song “Lou Lou.” The track, from his debut EP “Lovers,” has been streamed over ten million times and laid the foundation for a journey filled with success. His participation in Så mycket bättre in 2018 and 2022 made him a beloved artist in Sweden, and internationally, he was celebrated when he won the EU’s Music Moves Europe award as the audience favorite in 2019.
In the fall of 2024, Albin embarked on a grand autumn tour, which concluded with sold-out concerts at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm and Scandinavium in Gothenburg. He also released his latest album, “Discomforts,” which includes the critically acclaimed songs “Forget About Us,” “When You’re Here,” and “Elvis, I Love You.” Additionally, his duet “Nyper mig i armen” with Per Gessle has become one of the year’s biggest radio hits.
